CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY / CSI

Rebamoratiwa Property Investment Holdings and Michael Masemola strongly believe in community and giving back. Their developments have been focused on areas needing upliftment, bringing jobs to the community during development and employment in the retail centres after development.

In addition to this focus there are other projects that they have been involved in.

Making dreams come true for the next generation.

In a world where opportunities for higher education can often seem out of reach, the story of Kgopotso Ramalekane serves as a beacon of hope and inspiration. With the support of Rebamoratiwa Property Investment Holdings, Kgopotso’s dreams of pursuing a career in Broadcasting and Journalism became a reality.

Back in 2018, Kgopotso was awarded a Full Sponsorship bursary by Rebamoratiwa to further her studies at Limkokwing University in Botswana. This opportunity was a game-changer for Kgopotso, providing her with the means to pursue her passion and unlock her full potential.

However, Kgopotso’s journey faced unexpected challenges in 2019 when the global pandemic, COVID-19, swept across the world, causing widespread disruptions and hardships. Despite these obstacles, Kgopotso remained resilient and committed to her goals, demonstrating unwavering dedication to her studies and aspirations.

Fast forward to the present day, Kgopotso has successfully completed her studies and earned Honors in Broadcasting and Journalism. Her hard work and perseverance have paid off, as she has also secured a job in China, set to embark on a new chapter in August 2024.

The success of Kgopotso is not just a personal triumph but a testament to the transformative power of education and support. Rebamoratiwa Property Investment Holdings takes pride in empowering individuals like Kgopotso to reach their full potential and realize their dreams. As a company dedicated to giving back to the community, Rebamoratiwa is honoured to witness the success of its bursary students and play a role in shaping the next generation of professionals.

Kgopotso’s story is a shining example of how education, perseverance, and support can pave the way for a brighter future.

As Kgopotso embarks on her new journey in China, she carries with her the gratitude and appreciation for Rebamoratiwa’s belief in her potential. Her story serves as a reminder that with determination and support, dreams can be funded, futures can be secured, and success can be achieved.

Kgopotso’s words of gratitude, “Dream funded, future secured, thank you Rebamoratiwa for believing in me,” echo the sentiments of many individuals whose lives have been positively impacted by the generosity and vision of organizations like Rebamoratiwa. As we celebrate Kgopotso’s achievements, we look forward to witnessing the continued success stories of future generations of professionals who will be empowered to reach their full potential

the Blind COMMUNITY PROJECT

The land behind the Moratiwa Crossing Shopping Mall has been leased to members of the Blind Community in the area, at no cost, to allow them to grow vegetables. Many of these are matriculants of the School for the Blind. This is a job creation and community development.

Kängaru Foundation

How do you communicate with a child who cannot see and who cannot hear?

This is the mission of Sam Boshielo, director of the Foundation. The aim of the foundation is give quality of life to severely disabled individuals.

In 2011 the Känguru Institute for the Disabled began the Känguru Home for Disabled Children in Klipriver (Gauteng).

The Känguru Home is run entirely by South African staff, according to a concept signed by the board of directors of the Känguru Institute for the Disabled.

All of the Känguru Institute’s future activities will start from this Home.

The institute is supported by a German organisation IFB Inklusion durch Förderung und Betreuung e.V. who provide training and assistance to the South African staff.

Mike supports this institute both financially and with his heart, arranging visits to the Institute for his family and friends to understand the enormity of the disabilities managed there.

Youth development

Mike supports his community and neighbours. All the retail centres pictures on this site were taken by a young school boy. Just sixteen, Greg’s passion for photography is reflected in the quality of shots on this website.

Although school and sport come first – leisure moments are spent perfecting his craft. He recently took a loan to buy a drone and is hoping to recover the costs of this through videos. Instead of using a professional photographer, Mike elected to support Greg in his mission. The photographs and videos speak for themselves.

Rebamoratiwa Property Investment Holdings have awarded 2 students a full sponsorship to further their studies with Limkokwing University in Botswana.

  • 1 student is studying  (3 year) Degree in Fashion Design.
  • Another student is studying (3 year) Degree in Public Relations.
